SOB Colors

SOB Colors – Our Badge of Honor

The SOB colors represent the history and ideals of the clubs founders. We would die before we give up our colors.

The top rocker, S.O.B.SOB Colors
This stands for Sons Of Bitches. Three of the five founding members were Navy pilots who flew the SB2C dive bomber, known by its crew as the Son Of a Bitch 2nd Class. Their squadron had the unofficial nickname the SOB’s…they continued the tradition.

The center patch
The background is the Maltese cross; this denotes the German heritage of the founders. This is an old German symbol (it is their military insignia today) and in no way is attached to the Nazis. The SOB’s reject Nazi symbols, such as swastikas, and do not allow them to worn by club members. It is probably due to the founder’s German heritage that they were sent to the Pacific to fight the Japanese.

The skull, dagger and banner with “Death Before Dishonor”; this is an old military battle cry frequently used in the US Navy and Marines. The skull with the dagger through it represents those who have died defending their code of honor. It is the core principle of the SOB’s.

The bottom rocker
This denotes our state of origin, Florida.

The MC patch
This indicates we are a motorcycle club, not a riding club or association.
